History of Jeans: Jeans were originally developed as work clothes for miners in 1873. They only became popular in the mid-20th century thanks to movie stars such as James Dean and Mariah Monroe.
First model on the runway: The first model to participate in a runway show was in 1910. It was a German model known as Louise Mayer.
Most Expensive Pair of Shoes: The most expensive pair of shoes in the world are shoes set with 2,500 diamonds that were created in 2007. They are worth about $3 million!
Ancient Makeup: Already in ancient Egypt, women used cosmetics. They used mineral eyeshadow, vegetable oils for skin care and even soap to cleanse their faces.
The famous “red color” of lipstick: Red lipstick became popular thanks to Hollywood star Rita Hayworth in the 1940s, although it began to be used in ancient Egypt.
Most Expensive Cosmetics: In 2006, the most expensive cream face mask was created using 24-karat gold. The cost of one mask is about $100,000.
